Going back to school is a great idea, even if it takes you nearly a century to get around to it.
Marie Hunt from Spring Green, Wisconsin earned her high school diploma 87 years after she was originally supposed to graduate at the tender age of 103. Hunt received an honorary degree from River Valley High School while living in an assisted living home, WKOW reports.

Hunt had to drop out of school in 1928 after 8th grade because she couldn't commute to the high school. She helped raise her eight brothers and sisters instead. When the opportunity came to cross a big item off her bucket list, she went for it. The senior citizen did not share who she wants to go to senior prom with.
Now the high school grad is considering college, but she's in no rush to pick a university.
