A man in San Francisco is lucky to be alive after plunging 11 stories, and landing on a moving car.
According to officials, he remains in critical conditions. The man's name has not been released, but authorities said he is a window washer who had been moving equipment on the roof of a building in downtown San Francisco.

The man landed on the car of Mohammad Alcozai, who did not sustain any injuries despite the force of the fall caving in his vehicle's roof, and shattering its back windshield (pictured, below).
The man was conscious and lucid after the fall, according to witnesses at the scene.
Falls from that height are almost always fatal, but there are some instances of people surviving. Last year, a man fell off of a 15-story apartment building in New Zealand, and survived. In 2008, a window washer in New York City fell 47 stories, and made what doctors called a "miraculous" recovery.
Earlier this month, two window washers were rescued from a dangling platform on the 68th floor of One World Trade Center.
