Could This Be the World's Fastest 12-Year-Old?

It looks like it's impossible to win, as one kid is some 20 meters ahead in the last leg of a 100m relay race at the NSW primary schools championships in Australia. But 12-year old James Gallaugher runs the last 100 meters in an amazing 11.72 second-time. Is it enough to win the race? See the video and find out.

It's not known if Gallaugher's time is a world record, Canberra Times reports citing Eurosport, but it's faster than anyone else in his age group.

"When I talk about him with my wife and my family, we just say he is going to be the greatest sprinter we have ever had if he keeps improving at the rate which he is," said Gallaugher's coach Scott Richardson.
