Anybody else suddenly very hungry?
This month, we've been thinking a lot about board game nights and get-togethers as we read The Monopolists by Mary Pilon, April's MashableReads book selection. Throughout The Monopolists, Pilon reveals the secret and scandalous history of Monopoly's creation. Sure, Parker Brothers say the game was created by Charles Darrow during the Great Depression; however, the real inception of the game is much more harrowing, involving corporate scheming, a feminist named Lizzie Magie and many board game nights with a group of Quakers.

And what board game night is complete without delicious food?!
That's why, for this month's MashableReads social challenge, we asked you to send us your best foodstagrams. We also partnered with Mrs. T's Pierogies to put a delicious and creative twist on your favorite get-together foods! Inspired by the ingredients and bold flavors in your photos, Mrs. T's Pierogies created unique pierogy dishes that were shared and enjoyed at our recent MashableReads meetup with Pilon to discuss The Monopolists.
