Unfortunately, real students weren't lucky enough to study under Jack Black's Dewey Finn.
But the promise of learning bass instead of bio wasn't the only thing that Dewey brought to the classroom; he also taught his students valuable life lessons like the importance of putting your heart and soul into every project. And skipping math didn't hurt.
