MTV is slowly roping in more performers for the MTV Video Music Awards, with several announcements still to come until the big show airs Aug. 24 live from Los Angeles.
"Stay With Me" singer Sam Smith was added to the lineup on Aug. 19. "I have watched the VMAs every year since I was a kid," he said. "I am so insanely nervous but also so honored to be performing. This truly is a pinch yourself moment for me."
