Now that the 2016 blizzard -- which dumped record levels of snow across the East Coast -- is behind us, endlessly entertaining time lapses of the storm's progress have hit the Internet full force.
Imgur user FullmetalGinger shared a time lapse gif that documents snow fall in Fairmont, West Virginia. Over time, his backyard furniture and, oddly enough, a plastic skeleton disappear under a heavy coating of snow.
The time lapse was filmed the night of Jan. 22 into the following morning. Snowfall in the area was recorded at 23 inches.
