3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold's mother must have raised him well.

A YouTube video posted by the band's lead guitar player Chris Henderson shows Arnold interrupting their July 14 concert in Broomfield, Colorado mid-song when he spots a man pushing a woman in the crowd.

“Hang on, hang on, hang on. Hey, hey homie. You don’t hit a woman,” Arnold yelled to the man. “You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight, you dick! Get him the hell out of here. You don’t hit a woman, dude.”

Fans in the venue applauded the singer on Twitter.
