360Gadget has announced the launch of its new personalized start page app for Facebook. The new application will allow you to do a lot more of your Internet activities without ever leaving the social network. The page is fully customizable and allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds, search Google and map, take notes and more. The app will also allow friends to see what feeds each person is subscribing to just by visiting their profile. Customization is a snap with drag-n-drop organizing, so you can have the page arranged how you wanted in just a few clicks.

One of the big leap forwards is the addition of being able to access your POP3 email account. Simply enter your account information like you would in an email program, such as Outlook or Thunderbird, and start reading your mail from your Facebook page.

The company states that with 41% of the Facebook users now being over the age of 35, it seemed the right time for such an app to enter the ever-growing Facebook market. The need for information in one handy location is what this demographic needs, and the hope is that this will answer that market gap.

Startpage Netvibes recently launched a Facebook widget for Netvibes.com, but doesn't appear to offer the reciprocal (putting Netvibes on Facebook).
