Lee Griggs has plans for your face.

The artist, who specializes in the 3D software Arnold for Maya, created a series called Deformations in which he distorts the human face into very inhuman shapes and sizes.

Griggs, who's been working with the program for more three years, first deforms the faces in the Maya program, then adds shading and lighting in Arnold.

"Once I have the scene created, it's a matter of making minor adjustments to the settings in order to produce variations on the same theme using various deformation tools," Griggs tells Mashable. "I have fun experimenting with the tools and seeing where it takes me."

Griggs says that the deformations result from experimenting, rather than a completely thought-out idea of how the face will turn out.

More of Griggs' work can be found on Behance.
