The trailer for the hotly anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey has dropped and -- no surprise here -- it's a steamy one.
We get a first look as innocent college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) gets involved in a sadistic love affair with bad boy billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). And then, the moment we've all been waiting for: a glimpse at Grey's "red room of pain."
Johnson and Dornan appeared on The Today Show Thursday to premiere the trailer and discuss the process of filming the sex scenes.
"It's not a romantic situation," said Johnson. "It's more technical and choreographed."
"That's a big part of it...having trust," Dornan added. "Because, you know, we got ourselves into situations that don't feel that sort of natural, and they're not that easy and you need to have the trust there."
A slow version of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" is the score for the trailer. The singer teased the film's trailer on her Instagram earlier this week.
Fifty Shades of Grey is slated to hit theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
