Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has joined forces with India's first transgender musical group 6-Pack Band for their fifth single. "Ae Raju" is a fast-paced animated number, which features a dance sequence by Roshan.

The song has an autobiographical element and portrays the discrimination faced by the band members as transgenders in India, as well as their success as a musical group. The six members of the band were chosen from among 200 candidates after an extensive auditioning process.

6 Pack Band made its debut in January with a cover version of Pharrel Williams' "Happy", which quickly became a viral hit. Roshan is the latest celebrity to collaborate with the group. A few months ago, singer Sonu Nigam had sung with the band in the video "Sab Rab De Bande".

With the success of each song, the band has helped shake off some of the stigmas surrounding with the transgender community in India.
