Now add in the fact that Android shipments (says Schmidt) have almost doubled in the last quarter, and assume some further growth, and it's not very far-fetched to put Androids in front of the iPhone at the end of 2010 (if you remember, Apple sold 8.7 million iPhones last quarter, and 7.4 million in the quarter before).
