AUSTIN, TEXAS -- It's not easy to get a message across in 6 seconds. Even writing that sentence probably took about that length of time and it didn't really say much.
So we at Mashable and partner NowThisNews are extremely appreciative of the wonderful Vines that startups have sent us in response to our #6SecondPitch contest at SXSWi this year. It was tough to narrow down the list, but the following Vines were chosen for a combination of storytelling and creativity.
If you haven't entered yet or your startup didn't make the cut this time around, fret not: The contest is still open until 12:01 AM Sunday, Austin time. At that time, we will choose five winners in the contest — the three most-shared and two wild-card picks. The grand prize winner will get face time with a partner at Lerer Ventures and be featured in a post on Mashable produced by NTN. The five finalists will be announced March 10. The grand prize winner will be announced a few days later.
