The attack on London: Images of 7/7

LONDON -- Ten years have passed since the 7/7 attacks in London.

But even with the passage of time, there are certain images that are still present in our minds: the red doubledecker bus with its roof ripped off, commuters evacuating Tube carriages through dimly-lit tunnels and the wounded woman, a mask covering her face, being led from Edgware Road station.

Fifty two people were killed in coordinated attacks across central London on the morning of July 7, 2005. Hundreds more were injured.

Over the course of the day, photographers and eyewitnesses captured the horror and destruction of the London Underground at Edgware Road, Aldgate and Russell Square, and the number 30 bus at Tavistock Square.
