When Christine Quinn tied the knot in May, she had her bridesmaids by her side. The most notable addition to her bridal party: her 89-year-old grandmother.
Julie Melton of Sweetwater Photography was on hand to capture these sweet moments between Quinn and Nana Betty as they celebrated together in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
"She was adorable," Melton wrote in a blog post on the wedding. "Nana Betty could keep up with the non-stop shenanigans (read: non-stop laughter)."
Quinn tells The Huffington Post that choosing Nana Betty to be a bridesmaid was an easy decision.
"While she doesn’t live that close, we have continually made it a point to spend as much time together as possible," she said. "She just has an amazing sense of humor and outlook on life that I strive to emulate every day. Everyone loves her."
