This 97-Year-Old Creates Beautiful Artwork in MS Paint

Talk about making it hard on yourself: Hal Lasko, a legally blind 97-year-old, is using Microsoft Paint from Windows 95 to create art.

MS Paint, especially in its older iterations, is Microsoft's notoriously feature-absent drawing program. In fact, it's so basic that creating anything worth looking at is a challenge.

It doesn't really bother Lasko, who discovered the software decades ago and spends 10 hours a day painting. He uses it to create paintings that resemble both pointillism and 8-bit art.

Lasko was recently featured on art blog Colossal. He has prints for sale online and his work is on exhibit for the first time.

How do you like Lasko's artwork? Share your thoughts in the comments.
