Normally parents are the ones who provide coloring books for their kids, but artist Fred Giovannitti's children are the ones providing something for him to color in.
Whenever Giovannitti makes a business trip, his kids -- six-year-old Sofia and eight-year-old Freddi -- provide him with going-away drawings. On one trip he realized he could color in the drawings to surprise his kids with when he returned.

"When I came home, [Sofia] was delighted to see what I did with the artwork and we started a tradition of collaboration ever since with both of my children," he explained.
This family art project has no end date in sight; Giovannitti hopes he'll continue the collaboration, "for many years to come."
