Superstar NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers passed for 333 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday. But his best play of the day came long after the game ended.

The story actually starts before the game, during a moment of silence that the Packers held for victims of Friday's horrific terror attacks in Paris.

Several fans used the respectful moment in Green Bay to yell disparaging remarks about the opposing Lions. That was bad enough -- but at least one person in the stands took things even lower by yelling out "Muslims suck!" during what was supposed to be a period of somber remembrance.

After the game, Rodgers addressed that comment with thought and class.

Here's a transcript of what Rodgers said, in case you aren't able to listen:

I think it's important to do things like that. We're a connected world -- six degrees of separation. I must admit that I was very disappointed with the fan who made the comment. I thought it was really inappropriate during the moment of silence.

It's that kind of prejudicial ideology that, I think, puts us in the position that we're in today as a world.

That's about as thoughtful a post-game comment as you'll see from an NFL player. Credit to Rodgers for using his platform to deliver such a strong message.
