Apparently, years ago (or maybe now, but in a place where people still dress fairly formally at home), a rich recluse suffered from this condition, but was healed not by the love of a good woman, but by Andes Beer. The surprising conclusion to the tale -- a subversion of countless chick flick cliches -- will doubtlessly prompt female viewers to wish she had smashed one of the bottles on the jerk's head. Then again, maybe that's what happens when you keep things bottled up for so long.
