Mobile ad network Ad Infuse has secured a $12 million in a new round of financing. Led by SoftBank Capital with existing investors ComVentures and Storm Ventures participating, this latest round will be used for an "aggressive" expansion of Ad Infuse in the market. Funding will also go towards its advertising solutions, which are designed to target mobile users. As part of its investment, SoftBank Capital's Mike Perlis will join the Ad Infuse board of directors.

We first mentioned Ad Infuse here, when the company launched its services. You may recall that Ad Infuse takes certain data from mobile users, such as the demographics of the consumers, in order to infer certain targeted options for ad campaigns. In working with the mobile providers to obtain demographic data, which is also based on who the consumers call, Ad Infuse can indeed offer a more personalized advertising solution for brands to take advantage of.
