LONDON -- Not content with dominating the charts worldwide, Adele is reportedly in talks with director Xavier Dolan over the possibility of a role in his upcoming film.

Dolan worked on and directed her record breaking video for comeback single "Hello."

According to Screen Daily, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, which begins filming in spring 2016, could see Adele acting in a small supporting role.

The singer has recently expressed an interest in beginning an acting career. Speaking with Kiss FM, Adele said: “I’m sure I’ll get some flak for this, but I actually would like to act after working with Xavier."

"I would be in a film for him, definitely.”

Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates, Jessica Chastain and Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington are already set to star in the film, which sees a Hollywood actor exposed following his correspondence with an 11-year-old.
