Rumor has it that Adele's album might already have leaked.

If one Twitter user is to be believed, copies of the album were mistakenly put on the shelves at Target -- though the retailer tells Mashable that the picture "is not a Target album." Reps for Adele also told Billboard that "the Target sales are not true."

The rumors sparked up when a fan posted a photo of the album on Twitter and threatened to leak it.

Other fans had claimed to have seen the album in Target as well.

UK music seller Juno Records also reportedly caught heat earlier Tuesday for publishing two-minute clips of each song on 25 on its site. The link has since been taken down, apparently.

Or maybe this is all just an elaborate Jimmy Kimmel prank.
