It ain't no lie: Adele has sold over 2.4 million copies of 25 in just over three days, beating the record *NSYNC has held for single-week sales since 2001.

No Strings Attached is no longer the album with history's best single-week album sales, according to Nielsen Music.

Adele will also knock Justin Bieber from his current #1 slot on the album sales chart; for a brief, shining moment, Bieber had 2015's top selling album in a one week period. Purpose debuted at the top of the charts with 649,000 units sold.

25 is projected to sell around 3 million units in one week.
