Probably the best-known app in the bunch, Adobe Photoshop CS6, starts at $699.
If the prices are too steep for you, you'll be happy to know that Adobe has launched an entirely new way of purchasing the CS6 -- the Creative Cloud. It's a subscription service which gives you access to all of CS6 apps, plus Lightroom 4, for a monthly fee of $49.99 ($29.99 for students).
