Some of the women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault will tell their stories on an A&E special airing Thursday.

The network on Monday said the one-hour special, Cosby: The Women Speak, will offer "intimate interviews" with more than a dozen new and past accusers and "piece together the downfall [of] one of the most respected entertainers in American history."

To date, more than 50 women have accused the former sitcom star of sexual assault and misconduct.

Earlier this summer, 35 of those accusers posted for a haunting New York Magazine cover.

Actress Louisa Moritz, publicist Joan Tarshis and model Beverly Johnson are among those who spoke for this forthcoming special.

It will air Thursday, September 17 at 10 p.m. ET.
