This week, we challenged you to stay out past sunset or wake up before the break of dawn to take photographs in low light settings. We received many stunning submissions, ranging from moonlight silhouettes and long exposure light paintings to cityscapes and starry skies.
Our guest curator, Matt Lutton, chose his favorite photos after dark.
"The nine I picked out were actually quite interesting and impressed me with their unique perspective on the scenes from around the world that they were photographing," he says. "The standard for photographs these days is very high and the submissions helped to show that."
