Four airplane passengers were taken to the hospital in Edmonton, Canada, after the plane made an emergency landing and one of the propellers went through the side of the fuselage.

The Air Canada flight was on its way to Grande Prairie from Calgary Thursday night when it blew a tire, according to Transport Canada. The Dash-8 400 plane ended up on its side on a Calgary runway.

“I’m really lucky. It could have been a million times worse,” passenger Christina Kurylo told The Global News. “I could have died, you know, you never know what could have happened."

Kurylo was hit on the head, and taken to a hospital with "a huge head lump and it was quite purple and lots of bruises and scratches,” said fellow passenger Melissa Menard.

Menard said "the whole inside wall of the plane blew out."

Menard works for 97.7 Rock in Grande Prairie, a local station that had five staff on the plane. The appeared to be feeling lighthearted about the incident the next day.

There were four crew and 71 passengers on the plane. The four passengers taken to the hospital were treated for minor injuries.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said it is investigating the incident.
