The Simpsons has a long history of featuring sometimes goosebump-inducing coincidences, from predicting voting booth controversies to technological advances.

The latest weirdness to emerge? A clip of Simpsonized Alan Rickman, voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, in a scene set to the song "All the Young Dude," a song by Mott the Hoople written by David Bowie.

Bowie and Rickman both passed away from cancer last week.

Fox unearthed the clip, billing it as a tribute to Rickman, but fans were quick to take note of the Bowie connection.
