Using a clock, a motor and a Halloween prop hand, Simone Giertz built the "Wake-Up Machine," an alarm contraption that hits the user directly on the face ... so they can face the glories of a new day.
According to Giertz, one of the only issues is that the machine rips some of her hair out.
