Rock 'n' roll. Rehab. Run-ins. Restructuring. Retirement.

The Allman Brothers Band's 45-year stint culminated on Tuesday night as the seven remaining members played their final show together at New York City's Beacon Theatre, the historic venue where the band routinely performed over the decades and once recorded a live album inside in 2000 (Peakin' at the Beacon).

The sold-out farewell show extended into the wee hours of Wednesday, the same date that founding member Duane Allman died in 1971 after a motorcycle accident. The band opened with "Little Martha" and closed with a two-song encore of "Mountain Jam" and "Trouble No More," the Muddy Waters tune they covered for their debut album in 1969.

Luckily for those who couldn't attend the performance, Sirius XM will broadcast the three-set farewell concert every day until Nov. 2.

Take a look at the final showcase, below, which at final curtain call had three founding members on the roster. Six of the 13 former members have passed away.
