Guy Kawasaki's latest venture, Alltop, officially launches today, meaning the "beta tag" will be removed from the website, as Kawasaki noted during our interview at SXSW. Alltop soft launched the beta version of its aggregated news directory a few weeks ago, as a centralized site for finding all the latest news across topics that are of interest to you.
During my chat with Kawasaki, I learned about the background of Alltop, how it was inspired by popurls, and the reasons behind its minimalist design. Some things I was sure to ask about were the decision to not include RSS capabilities for Alltop, and of course, the price he paid in order to create the site. ;) See a video of the interview below:
