LONDON -- A student who lost her right leg in the Alton Towers roller coaster crash in June has made her catwalk debut.

Vicky Balch, who was in the front row of the Smiler ride with Leah Washington, Joe Pugh and Daniel Thorpe when it careened into another carriage, strode up and down the green carpet in Shepherds Bush London Saturday.

Walking with the help of gold crutches, she sported two different outfits at the show, which was organised by Models of Diversity, a group that campaigns for more diversity in the fashion industry.
