The men of One Direction snagged the biggest honor at Sunday's fan-voted American Music Awards, winning Artist of the Year over Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea and Luke Bryan.
Taylor Swift opened the night with a fiery performance of "Blank Space." Pitbull poked fun at her commercial success: "In four minutes onstage, she sold another 68 million albums."
Iggy Azalea dominated the rap/hip-hop categories and then closed the festivities by joining Jennifer Lopez onstage for their "Booty" remix.
