CBS showcases social media stars in new main titles for 'The Amazing Race'

LOS ANGELES -- CBS wants its viewers to know that this season, The Amazing Race is "getting social."

Season 28 of the network's venerable reality series will take 11 teams -- all made up of digital stars -- to 18 cities in 10 countries over the course of 21 days. Mashable got a an exclusive first look at the show's new main titles (above), which features every team and teases several of the global destinations.

The upcoming season, which kicks off on Friday, Feb. 12, features YouTube, Vine and Instagram personalities including YouTubersTyler Oakley, Burnie Burns and Blair Fowler, Viners Zach King and Cole LaBrant, and Instagram models Jessica Versteeg and Brittany Oldehoff.

The network teased the first minute of the first episode on its website.
