Amazon has added a "Share on Twitter" button to the Amazon Site Stripe (that bar that runs atop of Amazon.com if you are an Associates member) which makes sharing any item on Amazon.com as simple as clicking a button.

Click on the "Share on Twitter" button and a new Twitter browser window will open up to Twitter.com with a message pre-populated in the "What are you doing" field. The message will say something like "Great Deal on 'Product Name'" and include a shortened URL to the Amazon.com page, complete with your Associates-ID.

In the past, sharing items on Twitter with your associates ID meant having to find the "share as text" link and copy just the URL and then manually paste it into Twitter. The new method makes it much easier to share cool things you find and might also prove valuable for users trying to earn a little more money from their Associates account. It would be great if this feature was expanded to the Amazon.com mobile applications.
