It seems like the deals for Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year, get earlier and earlier every year.

But Amazon wants to beat the crowds. The company kicked off its Black Friday site on Monday, almost a full month ahead of actual Black Friday, which falls on Nov. 27 this year.

Amazon calls this "the countdown to Black Friday," with "tens of thousands" of deals on items including electronics, clothing and toys. The promotion will last long past Black Friday -- through Dec. 22, the company says.

Amazon Prime members will get an even sweeter deal, with early access to more than 30,000 Lightning Deals (Amazon's discounts which are only valid for a short period of time), according to a release.

Deals currently available on the site include an unlocked, 16GB Motorola Moto X phone for $199.99 and the PS4/Xbox version of the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" game for $39.99. Amazon also announced several other discounts, including 30% off Sony's XBR55X900C 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD TV, $170 off the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera, and 47% off Jaybird X Sport Bluetooth Headphones.

Amazon is no stranger to capitalizing on Black Friday hype early. In fact, the online retail giant has been launching its Black Friday deals site around Nov. 1 since 2012. We'd complain, but we're too busy shopping.
