No Doubt and Green Day dropped their latest albums this week and Amazon wants to make sure you buy them from its music store, not iTunes.
The online retailer is offering No Doubt's Push and Shove album for $5.99 to download -- half the price set by Apple. The price of Green Day's Uno record has also been cut in half to $5.00.
This isn't the first time Amazon has offered heavy discounts on popular releases. Amazon offered Lady Gaga's Born This Way album for $0.99 download when it was released in May 2011, which was so popular that Amazon's servers were stalled for most of the day. New releases from Kid Rock and Arcade Fire were similarly discounted from $9.99 to $3.99 at release.
