Set in Florida in 1952, the fourth installment of the franchise, from Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, will tell the story of a traveling freak show who arrives in town at the same time a "dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike," according to a just-released description.

And here's the new teaser trailer, which you can see above.

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett -- all current Emmy nominees -- and several others from the previous incarnation of the anthology, American Horror Story: Coven, are set to return.

Michael Chiklis, Patti LaBelle, Hunger Games alum Wes Bentley and Jyoti Amge, a.k.a.: the world's smallest woman, are among the newcomers.
