Lil BUB is on the hunt for a new cat star to join the ranks of Internet-famous felines.
The perma-kitten will guest star on America's Next Cat Star, an Animal Planet special that'll seek out the country's cutest new famous cat. The winning felines will be chosen from a pool of headshot and clip submissions posted on the TV special's website, and will air throughout the May 2 special.
“In the blink of an eye, I was considered one of the most important and influential cats on the planet,” Lil BUB meowed in a statement. “The best part of being a cat star is that I have been able to use my fame to help others. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
Those looking to make serious cash off their cat's various leaps, purrs and general cuteness should get filming now.
