Amy Poehler lost at her final chance to win an Emmy Award for Parks and Recreation on Sunday night.

In the words of Leslie Knope, "We need to remember what’s important in life: friends, waffles, work. Or waffles, friends, work. Doesn’t matter, but work is third." Sure, awards are nice, but waffles are more important.

Poehler lost in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category to Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep. But she took it in stride (and in a hoodie):
