Amy Schumer has glamorous new life of upstaging Kimye on red carpets, but she can still look non-famous people in the eye and even treat them kindly.

The comedian left a $500 tip for a $49 meal, according to The New York Post, which is about a 1000% tip.

The manager of Peter's Clam Bar told The Huffington Post that Schumer ordered "a cup of soup and a couple of appetizers" during her evening at the Long Island restaurant.

According to The Post's source, Schumer hit it off with her server, Ryan, who was “a college student working two jobs to fund his education.” Schumer waited tables to pay the bills when she started out as a comedian, so she knows what it's like. It's probably why she's so good at playing a waitress on television.
