Today Google's announcing new mobile features for the Android 1.5 release. The news means that Android phones can now upload videos straight to YouTube, send photos directly to Picasa, get better Gmail features, as well as search by voice more accurately.
The enhanced Google mobile for Android trumps the iPhone offering. The YouTube sharing feature means that by tapping "share" from the video, you can upload your mobile video creations to YouTube, and even set your privacy settings on the go. The same holds true for Picasa uploads, which now only requires one click to go from photo on your phone to photo on the Web.
Also of note for Android users is the new batch edit Gmail features and enhanced search by voice options. With batch edit, multiple emails can be selected for applying and removing labels, adding stars, marking as read, deleting, and reporting spam. It's the closest you can get to the real Gmail experience on your phone.
