The infamous Maleficent finally gets to share her side of the story in Disney's new film, Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie. The movie will explain how Maleficent, a resident of a peaceful forest, became the vengeful, cold witch who places the sleeping curse on the young princess Aurora, played by Elle Fanning.
The film's trailer dropped Wednesday, and it's undeniable that Jolie makes the perfect evil queen, with her enchanting beauty and mysterious sadness. It's apparently a character Jolie has been drawn to her whole life. She told MTV in 2010 that Maleficent -- not one of the princesses -- was her favorite Disney character.
