Those who have always dreamed of getting their hands on some Angry Birds — literally — are in luck. Sort of. Mattel will be adapting the immensely popular Angry Birds mobile game into a board game.
Players will draw cards that show either brick structures or pigs -- all of which are recreated as plastic figures -- that tell the player where to direct a plastic angry bird with a slingshot.
Rovio's smash hit app turned board game will cost $14.99, and will be available in May. The board game was revealed at CES 2011 this week. The video game version became available as a PlayStation mini for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable this week, and console versions will also eventually be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
