Aniboom, the YouTube of original, animated content, has teamed up with five online video and six mobile video networks to spread its shorts across the globe.

The five video networks include: Dailymotion, Metacafe, Veoh, blip.TV and blinx.

The six mobile networks include: MobiTV (U.S., Canada, and Latin America), Thumbplay, Buongiorno SpA, Cellfish, Jamster and Player X in Europe.

Aniboom is looking to mobile for a global expansion and there's a good reason behind this particular move. Aniboom's animated content typically consists of shorts, which are perfect for mobile consumption. With the new distribution plan, Aniboom is really pushing its mobile downloads while expanding advertising opportunities and revenue-generation for the end users that create content for Aniboom.
