The Oakland Zoo is raising money for conservation by auctioning artwork made by elephants, giraffes and other resident animals.

Bids start at $200 on eBay and bidding will end on Sept. 20. According to zoo spokeswoman Nicky Mora, the funds raised will benefit Oakland Zoo's conservation partners working in the field to save wild animals. Last year, the zoo raised nearly $10,000 selling 12 paintings.
