Will Anti-Tracking Tools for Torrents become Standard?

The current climate for torrents in specific regards to the Internet service providers that they're currently battling isn't very pretty. Torrents are fighting against the media companies as well, with both parties undergoing a large amount of scrutiny and speculation as issues surrounding copyright. So given this current climate, what are consumers doing on the wayside?

While some torrent services have son so far as to block certain users from accessing the service in order to keep them from being tracked and prosecuted, the options for users, especially those in the US, seem to be waning, even in the face of more media options becoming available for users to enjoy in manners other than torrents.
