Apple looks like her mom Gwyneth Paltrow, because genetics

Science has shown that many children strongly resemble their biological parents, and celebrities have also taken it upon themselves to prove this fact.

Just to list a few: Colin and Tom Hanks, Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez, and Gwyneth and Apple Paltrow. The actress and Goop entrepreneur has harnessed the power of genetics to create a near-perfect human copy of herself, as demonstrated in her latest Instagram photo.

Gwyneth had the help of her consciously uncoupled partner, Chris Martin, in the creation of Apple. A peek under her helmet would reveal possible Martin-esque features.

Whether Apple is merely a human child or perhaps some sort of Paltrow clone is unclear, but the Internet is beside itself with this truly groundbreaking discovery that children, even celebrity ones, can actually look like their parents.

This calls for a side-by-side comparison.
