Apple now has 575 million accounts on the App Store and has paid its developers $10 billion, CEO Tim Cook said.

The stats are "more than any store on the Internet we know of," Cook said during the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. The figure is three times more than all other platforms combined, he said. Apple reported it had paid out $9 billion to developers in April during its second-quarter conference call. Apple passed 50 billion downloads in the App Store in May.
